Extended Access- Our extended access now includes access numbers at over 250 area codes within the US. PRW customers can now use their dialup accounts when travelling to the US. This extended access is being offered to WebSurfer accounts at no additional cost.

To use extended access:

1. Lookup the access number corresponding to the area from which you are dialing using the extended access list. Note that you are responsible for determining the appropriate number for your location. PRW is not responsible for any long distance telephone charges resulting from using access numbers that are not local to your area.

2. Use your email address as your username (e.g. This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ).

3. You should use the default outgoing mail server (smtp.prw.net) with SMTP Authentication (e.g. select the checkbox "My server requires authentication" in Tools, Accounts, Properties, Servers). If that is not available from the location you are dialing, you need to use the alternate outgoing mail server (smtp9.prw.net) to send email.

Currently parental controls are not available when using extended access.
